HorsePower Australia provides people with diversabiliites opportunities that empower them to break through physical, cognitive and emotional barriers utilising the power of the horse to develop their abilities and enrich their lives.
Our horses help people with diversabilities to grow stronger both physically and emotionally.
RDAWA horses and ponies are hard to find, not all are suited to the specialised work we ask of them. They need to be quiet, kind, forgiving and patient.
Our accredited coaches and experienced volunteers spend a lot of time in the selection of suitable horses and ponies. Some are purchased and others leased from their owners in order to help our centres provide their life changing programs.
Centres are always on the look out for new horses and ponies particularly those between 12-15hh, weight bearing, aged between 8 and 20 years and of a quiet nature. If you have a horse or pony that you think would be suited to RDA please contact the State office with details.
