HorsePower Australia horses and ponies are hard to find. They come to us from rescue situations, donations and purchases, but not all are suited to the specialised work we ask of them. A HorsePower horse must be quiet, kind, forgiving and patient.
Our accredited coaches and specialised volunteers spend a lot of time in the selection of suitable horses and ponies. They must be able to adapt to a variety of situations, including traffic, cones, poles, balls, rings, water, screaming, and lots of movement.
Centres are always on the look out for new horses and ponies particularly those between 12-15hh, weight bearing, aged between 8 and 20 years and of a quiet nature. If you have a horse or pony that you think would be suited to HorsePower please contact our office with details.
